Engineering Cost Calculator:
This calculator can be used to estimate the actual cost of maintaining an inhouse engineer to your company. This information is important when making the decision to contract out some or all of your engineering work.
We have tried to include as many of the quantifiable costs as possible, however, we obviously can not fully capture the cost to every company so this tool should only be used as a first estimate.
To use this tool simply navigate through the pages using the
NEXT
and
PREV
buttons at the bottom of the page. We have used our experience with our clients to build in initial estimates for every category. Most of the information is displayed in two formats (ie hrs/annum and hrs/week). You can change either piece of information to better describe your situation.
You will likely find that our rates are competitive with even your own inhouse engineers. When you consider that we are already trained experts in your field, and we are hired on an as needed basis only, our value increases even more!
