Details:

A client was experiencing unexpected failures of this cast component.  Since weight was critical , a thorough and optimized solution was needed.

Applied Kinetics analysed the loading situations with FEA to determine the magnitude and nature of the design defect.  Then, guided by the results of the analysis, a new, stronger, lightweight bracket was designed. Other examples of computer aided analysis can be found here and here.
