This automotive project involved several weld stations which incorporated spatter shields, a full complement of part-in-place sensors, and extensive use of NAAMS components.  Per industry standards, design work was performed in "car co-ordinates". 

Robot reach studies were performed to ensure that every weld fell within the working zone of the specified multi-axis robots .  All tooling design was approved by the client through a multi-step review process. 

By outsourcing the design of all of the fixtures to Applied Kinetics, the client was able to keep their project under budget and on schedule.
