Our client asked Applied Kinetics to step in after the initial design stage. The prototype design required a complete strength and stiffness analysis to ensure it would meet the punishing characteristics of the most extreme off road trails. Any miscalculation would result in either certain failure or excess weight; neither were options for the new market entry.
In order to complete an accurate analysis Applied Kinetics worked with the client to develop worst case scenarios, fatigue requirements, and maximum deflections.
