When quality concerns encouraged this ice cream factory to consider machine improvements, they turned to Applied Kinetics.

A servo-controlled unloader was designed to fit on their existing machine.

Details:

Retro-fitting a servo system onto an ice cream cone machine that was designed in the 50s is no simple task.  Careful field measurements, and a thorough understanding of its operating principles was needed.

A new unloader was designed to mount onto the existing machine as easily as possible.  The new unloader had two servo axes, with pneumatic grippers.
